OP found here: [ http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1162374/DS-Turbo-Coolant-Line.html ]I can see most of this hose from underneath the Z. I have downpipes and can see the bottom of the coolant hose, but not the top. Looks to me like the hose is just gunk'd up and not actually split/blown. Question: does this mean the hard pipes would be clogged also? If I'm able to remove the old hose, how am I able to tell if the lines are ok, and if it was truly the hose causing my leak? I don't want to go through the painful work come to find out the hard-lines are causing excessive pressure and leak. Looks to me like the hose has screw clamps and not spring clamps. Also, I have stock turbos so my downpipes are 4-bolt. Why do I see an extra threaded thing in between 2 of the bolts? They are on both driver and passenger sides. TIA!!!!
